Pelet; talaş, tarımsal atıklar ve biyokütle gibi doğal hammaddelerin sıkıştırılmasıyla elde edilen, yüksek kalorifik değere sahip bir yakıt türüdür. Fosil yakıtlara kıyasla çok daha düşük karbon salınımına sahiptir.
